Outbound Christmas Party!

Outbound invites all the Chatterbox, PIG, Club and Discovery members to OUTBOUND's wonderful annual
Christmas celebration at 11.00 am on Saturday, December 10th at the Maison Pour tous Mélina Mercouri.

Outbound invite tous les membres des classes de Chatterbox, PIG, Club, Discovery à la grande fete de Noel le Samedi 10 décembre, à 11h à la Maison Pour Tous Mélina Mercouri.

Un spectacle de Noël débutera à 11h, avec des chansons traditionnelles, suivi par une visite du père noël (avec des surprises dans son sac) et un apéro-déjeuner.

Pour répéter le spectacle les enfants doivent venir samedi 10 dec. à 9h30.

Merci d'apporter un plat salé et une boisson que l'on partagera. Le bureau se charge de l'apéro et des desserts.

Building on last year's success, there will be a children's Christmas show including familiar songs of the season sung by Outbound students. The show will begin at promptly at 11 a.m followed by an appearance by Santa (bearing goodies for the kids!) and an apéro-lunch.

The kids needs to be at the MPT from 9.30 am.

Please bring a savoury dish and a drink; fruit juice, bottle of soda, sparkling water . The board will provide the apero and the sweet dishes.

IEAM-Outbound classes and activities for English speaking children have started up again at the Maison Pour Tous “Mélina Mercouri” (opposite IBM) in Montpellier…

Class information for English speaking children: 2nd class: Saturday 1st October 2011

• 9h30-11h - Club 1 : learning to read in English (6-8 years)
• 9h30-11h - Club 2 : learning to write in English (9-11 years)
  
• 11h-12h -*NEW* Mini-Club : developing language skills (5/6 years)
• 11h-12h30 - Discovery : developing self-expression (11-16)

• PIG : a Parent-Infant group (0-5 years) that meet regularly at the Montessori school in Montpellier www.piglanguedoc.blogspot.com

• Family membership : remember, you can also just join as a family member (25€) and help support our actions (promotion of bilingual education and the new International Sections in Montpellier schools), receive our newsletter and take part in our annual events (hikes, picnics, Christmas & Halloween parties, pub evenings, book sales…).

Ouverture de Sections internationales à la rentrée 2011 dans l'Hérault

Collèges :
Mise en place de deux nouvelles sections internationales dans les collèges
- Collèges Rabelais et Fontcarrade de Montpellier : section internationale chinois en 6ème
- Collège Louis Germain de Saint Jean de Védas : section internationale arabe en 6ème

Ecoles :
Création de sections internationales d’écoles élémentaires
- École Sibelius-Pottier de Montpellier : section internationale anglo-américain
- Écoles Rabelais, Sun-Yat-Sen, Dante Alighieri de Montpellier : section internationale chinois.

Des réunions d'informations sont organisées dans les écoles et collèges concernés.

Braderie Anglaise

Le bureau d’Outbound remercie tous ceux qui ont contribué au succès de la braderie anglaise qui a eu lieu à la Maison Pour Tous Mélina Mercouri, le samedi 16 avril.

Cette matinée conviviale a permis à l’association de récolter plus de 300€, qui seront mis à contribution pour le financement de nos ateliers pour enfants et de nos activités et actions pour promouvoir l’enseignement international à et autour de Montpellier.

Outbound wishes to thank all those who helped make the Book & bake sale on 16^th April such a success!

A great morning was had by all and proceeds from sales were more than 300€, which will be a great boost to help continue fund the language workshops and events we organize to promote international education in and around Montpellier.
